Ken Davis grew up in the town of Carlyle in Southern Illinois playing baseball, being a Cardinal fan and learning about hard work.
Carlyle, the county seat, was a small town with powerful politics. His father was the mayor and also the AT&T district supervisor.
Born the second of four children in the 1950s, he earned an engineering degree while also working summers to pay for college tuition. His sound upbringing, college degree, mentoring experiences and strong but quiet personality made him a world business traveler, negotiator and logistics specialist. He has given presentations about logistics in Korea, China, Europe and the United States.
He and his wife Cindy live in Florida. He has two children and two grandchildren.
